Cosmic Connection

if i hear myself calling myself – i alone am the answer.

in my soul burns a lamp of light from the gods – it is

shining throughout the pain of a thousand illusions.

in the midnight of the night –

the moon turns dim in vexation,

in my own conceptual illusion,

a pain is a sham of my own

self riddle.

if i hear myself calling myself –

i alone am there to answer,

i am by the telephone of my own self deception,

responsible me,

responsible me,

i left the receiver off the hook.

in the gold of this light burns the heat of a thousand

nights, & suns made bright by the vision of this sight,

& without a vision the people surely perish.

The atomic bird of self is a realization self.

The planets & the stars are the heart & breath

Of Wo / man kind.

what shall i do beneath the pyramid of myself,

shall i forever weep a solitary song in solitary

confinement?

what shall i do beneath the pyramid of myself,

make love to a speeding bullet in the passing wind?

what shall i do beneath the pyramid of myself –

make love to self, & the universe of all!

an actor for an act,

a stage for a play,

you yourself are stage act & audience,

you yourself are most glorious applause.

What shall i do beneath the pyramid of my mind,

What shall i do beneath the pyramid of my heart,

What shall i do beneath the pyramid of my soul;

Why, i shall ride the wings of a silver sphinx.
